In 1982, Mister Coffee was founded with a simple belief:

1982

Humble Beginnings

Founded as Muar Tai Huat Trading, introducing freshly ground coffee on demand from a backyard roastery while supplying traditional kopitiams across Malaysia.

1994

Expansion Begins

Moved into a 2.5-acre factory to support growing demand and future expansion.

1995

A New Chapter

Transitioned from a sole proprietorship into a private limited company.

1996

Investing in Quality

Installed a PROBAT roasting machine from Germany to elevate gourmet coffee roasting standards.

2000

Going International

Expanded into Singapore through Giant Supermarket, marking the company’s first overseas market.

2006

Preserving Freshness

Introduced Modified Atmosphere Packaging (M.A.P.) technology to keep gourmet coffee fresher for longer.

2007

Coffee Innovation

Invested in Italian technology to produce modern single-serve coffee pods.

2010

Certified Excellence

Achieved Halal certification, reinforcing quality and serving a broader customer base.

2011

Export Milestone

Made the first export of coffee pod products to Indonesia, expanding across Southeast Asia.

Introduced Japanese technology to manufacture Drip Brew Coffee and Coffee Bags with Tags.
